The CANTA CUISINE Restaurant was designed to blend an upscale dining with a cozy and stylish atmosphere, resulting in an eating experience that is romantic and elegant. It sets the mood for an intimate date or other special occasion with your loved one.

 

Its location in the incredible CANTACUZINO Castle and the elegant interior design makes it a unique place in Romania.During the warmer months, you can dine at a table on our outside gorgeous terrace as clouds slowly glide by, pampering the Bucegi Mountain Mass, while the sunset lighting creates a unforgettable ambiance.

Our Rooms are created in different styles from a historical hunting cellar ambience up to a stylish restaurant atmosphere. We can host in each part about 60 guests, so in total 120 persons.

CHEF ROMICĂ HARABAGIU

His kitchen Ethic and Philosophy

 

Chef Romica Harabagiu has an impressive CV, with gastronomic experience in Japan and China, among other countries, and more than seven years near Marseille, France.

The menu is more contemporary French and international than a Romanian one based on secret castle recipes, but has some traditional dishes. The talk of the town is the mushroom cappuccino with truffles, a delicious soup served with toast and milk foam.

As the chef said, if you don’t find something to excite your taste on the menu, speak to him and you will receive an unexpected treat. The majority of the diners are connoisseurs, and fish and meat are popular entrees.

THE KITCHEN

From red tuna in sesame crusted on a bed of avocado, mix salad and pomegranate juice, French onion soup and emmentaler, risotto with truffles, rib steak with vegetables, sweet popatoes and vegetables, Rossini sirloin, lamb crown with herbs crust, vegetable ratatouille, sweet potato and lamb sauce are among the dishes that you must to taste. Each meat is accompanied by its own sauce prepared in house, 100% natural, which gives a distinctive flavour to our plates.
